My friend and went to Bari to visit my daughter who works and lives in Bari before we came she looked at some of the citys hotels and chose this one and what a good choice it was we had a good time and will stay at this hotel the next time we come

Best Western is classified as a 3-star hotel in Italy. Room cost has been of 75 €/night, double room - single occupacy, breakfast included. The positive issues of my stay for this 3-star hotel have been: (1) Extremely pleasant personnel, very helpful pugliese people; (2) Very good localisation, by foot 10 minutes to the train station and 5 minutes to the Old Town; (3) Total property, big room, excellent bed, complete bathroom equipment; (4) TV - Sky programmes; (5) Computer available (free) at the reception - kind of business corner.

No "negative" issues in my stay. Just ... the breakfast is a little bit too simple. In the first night ... "if you want actually to sleep" ... take away the battery from the "noisy" clock in the room (and - obviously - put it back when you leave Bari).

The perfect location in the city center (15 min walk to the railway station, very easy) - The very welcoming and profesionnal staff - The quality and quietness of the room (I had a room opposite to the corso vittorio emmanuele).

The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location. It's at the edge of the old town, and commercial part of town. Shopping and sightseeing within walking distance, perfect for a short visit in town like we had. Good connection to the airport with public transport - AMTAB bus stop within 50 meters from the hotel entrance. We also liked the terrace (we had room on the 7th floor) - enjoyed the evening outside.

It's a three star hotel, and I think it's a fair mark. The thing we didn't particularly like is the elevator - working horribly; If somebody except for you pressed the button for the elevator on the other floor, elevator came to you first, the door closes very quickly (you have around 3 seconds for everybody to get in), and the only way for them to open back is to wrestle them (if you're not on ground floor). I had to do that few times as I was with children and they were incapable to get to elevator quickly.

The reception staff were very friendly, encouraging and patient with my poor Italian speaking skills.I arrived late and the male receptionist made checking in effortless so I could head straight to bed. Much appreciated.
